Equipment

  • 9x13 Ceramic or glass baking dish

Ingredients

  • 16 Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 lb Deli ham sliced thinly
  • 1/2 lb Swiss cheese sliced
  • 1/2 lb Provolone cheese sliced

Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Butter melted
  • 2 tbsp Coconut aminos or Worchester's sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp Everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  • Prep oven and baking dish- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9x13 ceramic or glass baking dish with cooking spray, set aside.
  • Make the sauce- Mix together melted butter, coconut aminos, coconut sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, and Dijon mustard.
  • Prep the rolls- Using a serrated knife, slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Gently separate them into individual pieces, and place the bottom halves into your greased 9x13 baking dish in a single layer.
  • Layer the ham and cheese- Top the bottom rolls with sliced deli ham, then layer the provolone and Swiss cheese on top. For a cleaner presentation, trim the ham and cheese to fit neatly within each bun square.
  • Top with sauce and seasoning- Place the tops of the buns back on the sandwiches. Brush the tops of the buns with the butter/seasoning mixture and sprinkle with bagel seasoning.
  • Bake and serve- Cover with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve warm.
