Equipment

  • 1 Personal blender or spice/coffee grinder optional
  • 1 6-8 oz glass jar

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Buttermilk powder
  • 2 tbsp Dried parsley
  • 2 tbsp Dried Chives
  • 2 tsp Umami seasoning (MSG-free enhancer) Don't skip this!
  • 2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Dried dill weed

Instructions

  • Blend- Add everything to a personal blender or spice grinder and blend until finely ground, about 10-20 seconds. Let sit for 30 seconds before opening the blender, otherwise you will inhale the powder.
  • Transfer- Transfer mixture to an airtight mason jar with lid.
  • Store- Store this in a pantry in a cool dry place for up to 6 months.
  • Use- To prepare, combine 2 tablespoons of the spice blend with 1 cup of sour cream and 1 cup of yogurt (or blended cottage cheese or mayo). Stir until well combined. For best results, refrigerate overnight before serving or a minimum of 3 hours.
