Gluten Free Chex Mix Recipe

Our homemade gluten-free Chex mix recipe is lighter, healthier, and completely customizable. The base features a blend of your favorite gluten-free cereals like Rice Chex and miniature cheddar pops for a classic touch. But feel free to get creative! Add in nuts for a protein boost or explore other mix-ins like whole-grain crackers or pretzels or bagel chips.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups Rice chex mix gluten free
  • 1 4oz box Simple mills cheddar pops About 2 cups
  • 1 cup Cashews salted
  • 1 cup peanuts salted
  • 1/2 cup Melted butter unsalted
  • 1/4 cup Coconut aminos
  • 2 tbsp Everything bagel seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard powder or 1 tbsp stone Dijon mustard

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  • In a large bowl add Chex mix, cheddar pops, and nuts.
  • In a measuring cup, melt butter until liquid. Add coconut aminos, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard and everything bagel seasoning. Mix until incorporated.
  • Pour liquid mixture over Chex mixture, stirring and coating evenly.
  • Pour Chex mixture onto a rimmed baking sheet. Bake in 250 degree oven for 45-55 minutes, stirring mixture every 10-15 minutes.
  • Allow to cool and enjoy. Store in Ziploc bag or airtight container.
